Her classic/remake outfit is the best one aside from her red Wall Market dress. Her design looked nice in Advent Children as well. It really brings out the "innocent" feel for her character. Both dresses are great, but the" remake" dress looks nicer while the button up dress looks kinda childish.
Her (red) Wall Market dress is the best one out of the three choices. In the original FF7, it was a simple red v-neck strap dress with matching heeled shoes and earrings. The remake revamps it, now making it strapless, adding a matching bow in the back, giving it a slit and ruffles, as well as well as a necklace and bracelets. However, the red shoes are replaced with silver open toe heels. (they should've stayed red.)
The other dresses aren't bad and have nice colors, however their designs aren't aren't as eye-catching as the red dress.
Her dress in Crisis Core and its remake isn't as appealing, either, especially since it mostly lacks her main colors.
When it comes to other designs, Kingdom Hearts comes to mind. In the first game her design is derived from the original ff7, but without the coat. It doesn't really look that great, especially with the blue belt, and gives a "rebellious" vibe.
Her design in the second and third Kingdom Hearts games looks much better, being derived from her Before Crisis design. She looks more mature while retaining "innocent" vibe\look. A part of me wants to believe that this may have somewhat inspired her Remake dress design. However, I will admit that the way they made her boots big look pretty weird.

For me it's her usual design. So classic and iconic. I also love the sporty feel it had in the remake.
Her leather suit is Cool, too and the boots are cute.
Although I've never been a fan of the wild west genre, Her outfit in Crisis core may be an exception. It has a modernized feel and very stylish details. I love its design more in the original Crisis Core due to the white accents and designs it had, the belt was nice and complete the the detailing, the same can be said about the boots. The vest and skirt had a great color scheme with the white details complementing them as well as the hat, and the short shirt had nice details, too, and simple buttons.
In the remake games, although she still looks great, I miss the details. I get they wanted the outfit to resemble it's appearance in the game, it's still not as much stylish as it was in the original Crisis Core game. The darker brown and orange color scheme looks pretty good, and I like the addition of dangling ribbons\strings at the bottom of the skirt and vest, including the strings around the torso. The hat still looks great, including the beads and feather in her hair. The short white shirt is still nice, though I do miss the buttons. The addition of gloves are interesting, however it is confusing on why they were added, including the black cloth under her shirt in the Crisis Core remake. But overall, she still looks great.
For other outfits, there's a few that I really like. For starters, the wall market dress (purple/violet dress) is super stylish and is a very nice color. I also love the chain belt it has. The matching shoes are a cute touch, too, including the moon shaped earring. While it was a cute high neck minidress in the original FF7, the remake does a nice recreation of it, now making it a V-neck strap minidress made of silky/velvet material with laces and a matching ribbon around the neck.
I love the kimono alternate as well. It's super cute, including the hair accessories, bows, boots and stockings.
Although the cheongsam looks great, too, it doesn't catch my attention as much as the other two. However I admit it gives a great "Chun li" vibe to it. I also think the stockings would have been better off as tights.
I love her alternate clothes based on her outfit colors in Amano's artwork. While she looks off-character in the actual artwork, the colors of the designs on her clothes look fantastic. In Dissidia, the colors look amazing, including the matching hair band, and the dark hair looks better and complement the color designs, more.

I like both designs, however I like the detailing of her main appearance more. It's basically one of the only designs by Amano that I really love. Like Celes, I'm also glad she doesn't have contrasting hair colors throughout her designs, just simply blonde.
Her in-game design is great too, especially with it purple elements (leotard and accessories). I will admit, it's pretty underrated.

Like with Terra, I like both designs for Celes. And she she doesn't have contrasting hair colors, just blonde in every design. I like both outfits too, but I honestly like the green leotard/armor with the cape and blue headband, belt, vambraces, and boots much more. Especially since it fits the game's setting and playful aesthetic more.
This design seems a little underrated as well.
As for her other outfit, it looks great. The boots are a nice touch as well. Though I also noticed this design varies in other appearances (mainly with the top). Sometimes her vest has puff sleeves with green sleeves attached, other times her sleeves are completely yellow and detached. Her top would also vary in color such as from blue to yellow. Her pants would sometimes lack the sash or belt as well.
This is also kind of a reason I like her in-game appearance more. Because it's pretty simple and doesn't greatly vary in other appearances as much as her other outfit does.

I agree. Amano designed so many characters as blondes, to the point where the sprites are the only way to differentiate the characters is because of the different designs compared to the artworks.
(Hence, why I like the in-game designs more.)
Unlike the case for Faris and Lenna, I like both designs for Terra. She looks great with either hair color. However I do like her green hair more, especially since it alludes more to her name. The details of her dress is nice in both designs
I have nothing against Amano's work, but several of his his designs can look too similar that you can easily confuse characters with each other.
