So I’ve been trying to beat Odin in rebirth and I have to be missing something. Based off my understanding he should only zantetsuken when you take too much hits but I’ve had solo attempts where I don’t get hit at all and he still uses it. Am I missing something?

I think the before all the spin-offs the OG 7 had a kind of ambiguous ending but idk if it actually does or if I just didn’t get it
Honestly discussions like this is why 16’s ending is so good imo. I love the ambiguity of it and how the ending means different things for different people. Like I know some people think all 3 people who go into the final mission die, some people think they all survived etc. I really like your analysis of the ending and I think both are takes are equally valid
That’s a fair analysis, it’s a very ambiguous ending. I personally don’t see any way that Clive survives at the end. Holding in ultima’s powers for even that short of a time was probably insanely taxing, given that Clive had the literal power of a god. Like when Hugo turns to stone instantly after summoning titan lost, it was most likely even more powerful then that. Plus I think at that moment when the last crystal is truly gone all of Clive’s eikon use catches up to him
I’ve always been curious why people like FF7 cid so much. I personally found him really unlikable
I don’t think it’s crap per se but his arc of going from protected to protector and the role reversal of it being him laying down his life for Clive is top tier imo and it would just be ruined
Before I start this post I’m gonna give a very obvious spoiler warning cause I’m about to spoil the entire game
Anyways, I just beat 16 And wow that game was amazing but there’s one thing I’m curious about and I’d like other peoples thoughts on it.
What do you guys think happened to Joshua during the ending? I know it’s implied that he survived but it’s never outright stated and in my opinion him coming back kinda takes away from his arc. In my opinion I think he does die and the book at the end is written by someone else, specifically the undying. I’ll elaborate; I forget exactly where it’s said it who says it but I remember near the end of the game someone says something along the lines of “no One truly dies as long as their name is still alive” (also a reason why Clive takes Cid’s name) so in my opinion the book was written by either the undying or someone else as a way to make sure Joshua never truly dies. I think it being the undying makes the most sense since their goal is to basically body guard Joshua so keeping his name alive that way is them doing their duty even after he’s gone.
But that’s just my thoughts I’m curious what other people think

I’m playing through ff12 zodiac age and I just got inside that weird temple place in giruvegan but I feel like I’m extremely under leveled. I’m level 39 and have done every fight and even grinded but one of my party members is infected with disease and I have no way to cure it and I’m too deep in to go back to the orange crystal and I feel like there’s nothing I can do except just stop playing the game. Anyone have any advice?

Hey so I’m currently playing through final fantasy 12 the zodiac age and I’m at the part where you fight ghis but I found my game is glitching and whoever is set as the third member of my party won’t attack or do anything and as you can imagine that means I’m dying a lot since I have essentially dead weight and it’s really frustrating me. Does anyone know what to do?
