Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin

A lot of articles are either nonexistent or only half-complete. What gives? Are we waiting for the release of Confidential File before writing everything down or something?

I entered expecting a Soulslike Final Fantasy, and... Well, it wasn't bad.

First thing that called my attention was the fact that there was a black character in the group, the worries about forced "diversifications" were big, but first of all the game doesn't seem to be too story focused, and I like that guy! He doesn't have any special role and is just like the others, as things should be. Ash is strong, serious and direct, he started as a pugilist and I definitely liked seeing him bashing people with his huge fists... like man! he gotta be like 2 meter tall, he's huge!

Then I met Jed, that was a prompto like character. its the thief of the team. again, serious and direct. But hes a bit cheerful also.

Then we got Neon. Shes a weird gal. the ideas she had to "save the world" were definitely bold, but she is cute, also serious and direct.

And we have to mention the main character, Jack. This man is brutal! He got all types of weapons but never misses an opportunity to bash an enemy's skull on the ground, pry the mouth of a dog open or slam his fists violently into peoples guts and heads. He is Serious, direct, strong as hell, brutal, cool, a bit sadistic and sinister.

Did someone... notice a pattern? Yeah... the character's developments are... weird. There isnt much personality in them, and we hear almost nothing about them, so... well that's a weird crew. ALTHOUGH the villains are amazing! Seeing Astos like that, and Bikken, was definitely interesting! I can only imagine how cool the other villains will be...

As for the story, the alterations were kinda weird, but I'm definitely not going to complain. Love the fact that the villain isnt present, much like FFVII, but they are dead serious about going after him. And Chaos works very nice as a concept, so I love it.

Will I buy it? God yes! Any game that I can undress hot men and admire their shirtless muscular bodies is a win in my book! While the girl didn't look like much, the guys were smoking hot! Now speaking seriously, I loved the story, the combat system wasn't bad, definitely better than FFVII Remake and FFXV, the Soulslike element was cool, and the overall fun was tremendous! I really ended up wanting more.

Also I'd like to add this paragraph about the soulslike, because umm... I hate these types of game, where you have to learn an enemy pattern and fight him several times until you learn, but this game wasn't as relentless as the others like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Sekiro, Nioh, etc etc. You can actually grind with the rpg system and get strong enough to not have to pay for your mistakes. You also lose nothing when you die and its fast to grind, so it was cool, but there are indeed lots of Soulslike elements like potions, enemy patterns, the overpowering amount of enemies and traps and the lack of fairness in bosses. BUT ITS COOL!

A thing I really found stupid, is that, you can only have two party members aside from your main one, which is stupid! You dont call them "The 3 Warrior's of Light and the guy that carries the backpack" Its 4! If its 4, four should be in the battle! So that was a thing I found really stupid! Also the amount of gear you get from enemies is obscene, and most of them arent useful! I mean, its cool that every piece of equipment changes in the character appearance, and its also cool how many sets of different weapons there are, BUT its too much and their effects are confusing! There is an obscene amount of stats and effects to consider, most of them enhance things in small percentages, which renders them useless unless there's a lot of the same effect on them... As well as the upgrading system... Man it was so confusing I just got to a point where I chose the higgest level gear and went to battle. Too much...

Im waiting for the hot gals to appear! Even if its Marilith 🤣

Which means I'll be recieving the Braveheart weapon and lustrous shield, and rebellion weapon. Both of which are the weapons (and shield), wielded by Zest (aka the Warrior of Light) and Garland. Who's the main character of this game, as this game's a prequel to Final Fantasy 1.
