Note: I know this subject might be controversial, which is why I am saying this key reminder off the bat. Firstly I Am NOT A Racist! I accept all ethnicities, genders, sexual preferences, religious views, etc.
There is one confusing question that has crossed my mind recently, and this is to do with General Leo Christophe of Final Fantasy VI, but it is of his appearance. When you play any version of Final Fantasy VI, you see the map and battle sprite of General Leo Christophe as a White Man, which is not surprising and not at all uncommon.
However, the artwork and design of General Leo Christophe of Yoshitaka Amano, shows General Leo Christophe as a Black Man, and even the Menu Portrait of General Leo Christophe's face, uses the same picture and skin colour as Yoshitaka Amano's design of him.
Here are several questions about this:
1) Is there a glitch that changes General Leo Christophe's skin colour to white?
2) Is there a lost artwork picture of General Leo Christophe by Yoshitaka Amano, that shows him being a White Man?
3) Is Square Enix racist towards Black People? (I know this sounds stupid, but it might be true, somehow)
4) Has Square Enix confirmed General Leo Christophe to be a Black Man or a White Man?
And,
5) If General Leo Christophe is confirmed to be a Black Man, why is his world and battle sprite got White Skin?
I just don't know what is going on here with General Leo Christophe's Skin Colour, and even thought I don't mind his skin colour, I personally prefer him to be a Black Man since he would be the first Black Character of Final Fantasy, which would help the series be Universally Acceptable to all ethnicities, genders, sexual preferences, religious views, etc.
I need Final Fantasy Fans to answer these questions, since I cannot answer those questions without sounding like a discriminate, and I know that the Final Fantasy Fans are a wonderful Universally Mixed Group of ethnicities, genders, sexual preferences, religious views, etc.
