Hi. I've just begun playing FF14, and it's been pretty good thus far (though a bit of a slog at times). I wouldn't mind some questions answered and opinions shared however, mostly about the game's mechanics rather than anything story related.
1. What would you say are the Melee DPS classes/jobs with the most fun early/mid-game leveling experience?
From what I've seen, they seem my type the most with the constant movement, comboing, and variety. I've started as Marauder (because the navigator god is my patron and thus role-playing), and it's been good but I don't think it'll last since, as a tank, you need to mostly stand still in front of the enemy and rotate offensive and defensive skills (also I'm a modern soyboy afraid of responsibility). At this point in the game, I just want the most exciting experience; I'll figure out the most fun fully-levelled job on my own.
2. Can you check how a piece of gear looks on you before buying? Because Fashion > Stats.
3. Can you increase dialogue text size? It is too small as is and I often need to squint my eyes a bit.
Anything would help. Thank you!

I just miss the feeling of running around the world, battling monsters, playing around with photo mode, and once I'd reach LV 15, I'd fly to the Gold Saucer and play games until I could get enough tokens for cool clothing. I especially miss playing as my thaumaturge miqo'te! So I've been thinking of picking up the free trial again.
But... I know FFXIV can take up lots of space on my laptop, and I only have 188 gigabyes left to use. Plus, there's this whole one-time password thing along with the authenticator app that I have to get by, which frustrates me to no end. I'd probably have to make another Square Enix account too...
So, is it worth it to pick FFXIV up again? I'm just very, very torn right now with the pros and cons I've listed out.

I've just been doing side-quests for money, running around the desert (my starting base is Ul'Dah), expreimenting with clothes, ignoring the main storyline, etc. In other words, I'm having some fun with this game. This game is also inspiring me to make a Final Fantasy fan series with my Miqo'te (cat person) character (I'm picturing the universe the story's taking place in as a cross between FFIX and FFXIV).
Should I get the full version as well? I know I have to pay for monthly subscriptions and I'm unsure if my computer can fit the full game (it has 142 out of 237 gigabytes left...). BUT... I also want to fool around Eorzea as a male Viera (bunny person), and they are only available in the full game. So I'm torn.
Is the full version worth it? And also, here is my character:
Is funny there s no POST about XIV
Unlike other GAME ONLINE WIKI, Some time some post like want join CLAN or want be FRIEND or CHALLENGE or how to find this......... Some thing like that
Found something you might enjoy. As a Garo fan, this has more than piqued my interest.

So something I noticed with the quest particularly with the little info drops that are on the stage. The second world we see seems to essentially be what would happen if Garlemald won, as the world had achieved technological superiority. However there were those that struggled against them and they wanted to unite all under one banner no matter the cost. However the machines they created not only destroyed the rebels but the creators themselves, and one person was able to kill more or less everything and died alone.
The Third world seems to mirror Etheirys before the sundering as the Ancients had a near perfect world that they could create and alter to their pleasing. Had Meteion not succumbed to despair it was possible that with time they would've also achieved a state of 'perfection' and would've lost their will to live. However that is only a possibility not a probability.
The one I'm having trouble comparing is the first world. The notes there said that they lived in the ocean but craved more. They then created weapons and the fire from doing so caused their oceans to become polluted and decayed eventually becoming a pestilence that poisoned them even through their suits. Not sure what this could be a hint towards though except possibly Garlemald again.
I’m trying to download FFXIV online to my laptop, but an error keeps appearing during download. Advise?
I just want to know in case I can save some money buy buying it later.
Hey guys, i have a question about the dancer class. Im currently lv 70 astrolog. and finished stormblood (still need to finish the post-stormblood scenario). I got the shadowbringers dlc and now that I have access to the dancer class i actually wanted to give it a try. The problem is that the dancer starts at 60 and the quest are 70 plus. I allready leveld my astrolog. from 30 to 60 for heavensward/stormblood and it was tiresome as hell. So my question is if there is any fast way to level up that wont take me a week.
Thanks in advance ^^

UI or Hud in final fantasy is very annoying while taking screenshots. It will destroy the beautiful view of the image. So I researched and found out that the "scroll lock" key can hide UI. I hope this helps you in the game while taking screenshots. https://tricksfortech.com/ffxiv-hide-ui/
In final fantasy xiv a realm reborn, with all expansions.(HEAVENSWARD-SHADOWBRINGERS)
With one individual character, am I able to unlock all jobs throughout the journey?
If Yes how can I switch between them?
Also will I be able to put a team together and journey together? thank You.
