There was a time when the only one I didn't beat was Nemesis. This time I got it too, Yojimbo used Zanmato on it and ended it quick.
As for my 100% playthrough, I'm just missing the Avenger Overdrive Mode for everyone and the Dark Aeons (except Dark Valefor) and Penance (and actually finishing the game).
If you visit the Chambers of the Fayth in FFX after the last talk with Bahamut's Fayth (just before Sin gets available), you receive items, namely rare spheres like Agility Sphere, Accuracy Sphere, Evasion Sphere, among others that otherwise you'd only get in the Monster Arena. On top of that, you get to hear the Fayths out and what they say, which varies from their suffering, Sin's feeling and Ifrit's Fayth even mentions how Jecht came to Spira. There's some exceptions, however. Bevelle is off limits, and Seymour's mother (Anima) has nothing either. Valefor, alongside the sphere you get from listening, has four chests, Ifrit has three, Ixion has two and Shiva has one (I haven't got to Shiva yet this playthrough, but considering the pattern, she'll have one chest). Yojimbo and Magus Sisters don't have any chests (and you can't visit Yojimbo's chamber after the dialogue anymore). Of course, in order to reach Valefor's and Shiva's Chamber you have to defeat Dark Valefor and Dark Shiva respectively.
Did you know of this? I came to discover this some other time I played, but I'm pretty sure it's not a very well known fact of the game, although it's rather helpful, both for story and items.
Extra: Malboros are immune to Haste in FFX. Pretty weird thing to be immune to.
Ok so I FINALLY picked up a final fantasy game. I love Square Enix, so I bought FFX. I really don’t like Tidus as a main character but of course this game is super fun!

Nearly everyone on this planet knows about the Machina Mech Scouters of The Calm Lands, a simple robot that can be defeated with Lightning, and more easily by stealing something from it. However, there is one version of the Mech Scouter that has confused me for a long time, and that is the Flaming Version of the Machina Mech Scouter. It may look like an ordinary robot, but part of its head is damaged with its right eye that is flashing red, its pelvic area is on fire, and both of its arms are on fire with the right upper arm more damaged that the left upper right arm. I have a couple of questions to ask about this robot variant.
Here are the two questions:
1) Is the Flaming Variant of the Machina Mech Scouter Undead, even though it doesn't have the Zombie Status Effect?
And,
2) Would the Flaming Variant of the Machina Mech Scouter be considered as 'Zombie-Like' for its damaged flaming body, even though it doesn't act like an 'Actual Zombie'?
I have struggled with this idea for years, as I have always thought that the Flaming Machina Mech Scouter was Undead and/or 'Zombie-Like', and that it would be the First Ever Zombie Robot, and/or the First Ever 'Zombie-Like' Robot of Final Fantasy (as far as I know).
But can Final Fantasy Fans and Final Fantasy X Fans help me answer those age old questions?
Would the Flaming Machina Mech Scouter be Cool as either an Undead Robot, and/or a 'Zombie-Like' Robot?
I loved it, visuals, soundtrack, characters (minus Kimhari [I forgot about him ngl] and Wakka), and the world of Spira. I love the combat (my god Yuna is busted with her fully powered Nirvana), Yuna is cute, and the water in the game is so nicely rendered, I would gladly drink all of the water in Besaid.
Only thing is how tedious doing some of the sigils is for the Celestial Weapons (Glaring at Tidus' Caladbolg and Kimhari's Spirit Lance)
Wonderful game, And I am making a bit of progress in X-2 (I am at Besaid trying to get AP)
So a relative of mine gave me a PS2 copy of FFX...
Should I go ahead and play that, or should I buy the remastered version with X-2 for 40 USD?
Orrr, should I buy the PS2 version of FFX-2 on Ebay or somethin later...
Once I either beat or give up on Final Fantasy VIII, I've also gotten FFX on Switch while it was on sale. Which sounds like it might be fun and not too difficult as it's sometimes been recommended as the first game for beginners.
So, the usual, what are some critical tips that first-time players might not think to do? Stuff that would be too easy to miss like the Blood Sword in FFII, Mog in FFVI, the Ribbons in FFVII, etc.? Some hidden strategies to otherwise difficult bosses (like having Kain jump before Bahamut's Mega Flare in FFIV, or powering up Freelancers by maxing certain jobs in FFV), etc.? Stuff like Thievery, Dragon Crest, and Frog Drop in FFIX?
Also, should I use my Pro Controller for it and connect it however you do that? I'm paranoid about joycon drift with my main controller, as some motions with the control stick can cause that and ruin every game for you until you send it in to Nintendo to get it fixed. Because I know X is more 3D than the first nine and might not use control pad for motion at all (correct me if I'm wrong here).
Is there any risk of getting joycon drift from it? (Since I think it enters the more 3D style and wouldn't be surprised if it uses control stick instead of control pad, but ever since hearing people talk about joycon drift on Kirby and the Forgotten Land I have been paranoid of it)
Or, should I use the Pro Controller? (Is it easy to switch between the two? No pun intended. I picked one up a while back but haven't opened it yet)
I got FFX on Switch while it was on sale and am thinking about playing through it sometime.
