Final Fantasy VI

I seriously think that Final Fantasy 6 should have a 3D remake that serves as the balance between the DS remakes of Final Fantasy 3 and Final Fantasy 4 and the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy; having realistic designs for the characters and great voice acting like in the FF7 Remake trilogy, while keeping the story and battle system the same like in the DS remakes of 3 and 4. But however, a few days ago, I had the best choice for who should voice Kefka in a 3D remake for Final Fantasy 6, and if this prediction comes true, it will be one of the greatest Actor Allusions of all time. And with that said, I want Kefka's voice in a 3D remake of Final Fantasy 6, to be Mark Hamill. Mark Hamill was the best voice for the Joker in DC, before he retired because Kevin Conroy, the most famous voice for Batman, had sadly died, but however, in which it would fit well because George Newbern, the voice of Superman in the DC Animated Universe, voices Sephiroth, I want Mark Hamill to voice Kefka, because Mark Hamill's chaotic-sounding Joker voice would fit perfectly for Kefka.

Recently, articles mentioning the guy that was behind Dragon Quest 3's HD-2D Remake wants a FFVI 2D-HD Remake have been appearing on my feed. I'd really like if it would come true. HD-2D like the Dragon Quest 3 Remake is definitely the right choice for a beloved game like FFVI, whose pixel art and 2D style is part of its main charm.

But what do you guys think? Doesn't mean we'll get one in the near future, because there's no real plans for it, but it would be really cool if it happened at some point.

Hello, there Is something strange with my ATB, im playing the pixel remaster, i have most of the party in WoR except gogo and currently grinding espers on verdt, when i started the game today, i noticed that my ATB bar was going significally slower, do someone knows why?

Hey people, I was kind of surprised that the first 6 Final Fantasy games have had HD remakes on the PlayStation Portable and mobile devices. Do you ladies and gentlemen like how there are HD remakes of classic Final Fantasy games?

FFVI enemy stats throughout its pages -- don't know if it's all -- have incorrect or missing data, particularly in the Affinities and resistances sections.

I've checked a tonne of enemies, particularly ones that I know have specific elemental affinities, and it seems to be that the Absorption affinities are missing?

For example, I checked all of the Legendary Dragons, and not one of them have their particular elemental affinity noted as being absorbed.

I'm pretty sure in years gone by, referencing this wiki, especially older table designs (which I preferred in the past, to be honest), the info has been solid and correct.

Or, am I missing something?

If you have fought Ice Dragon or Fiend, did they spam Northern Cross (like they did in the Switch Pixel Remaster)?

I am thinking of doing a FFVI playthrough with all the quadruple multipliers after FFIV. (Which I will begin tomorrow btw)

Of course I just beat FFVI on Steam, and aside from Deathgaze, I am wondering whether the Paladin's Shield will be sped up. Does setting the AP to four times work on the Cursed Shield (which would mean 64 battles instead of 256), or is it a completely separate class from the magic that means you still have to win 256 battles no matter what?

(Though, Magemasher used the enemies on Solitary Island to get it and they are weak and kill themselves so I might do that instead of Zozo next time)

Obviously, you start with Celes, and you have to get Edgar and Setzer before any of the others except Sabin, who you can get before Edgar. Other than that, needing 8 party members to get Locke, and you have to get Relm before Strago, you can pretty much get them in any order.

As one of the most-requested remakes of a Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy 6 should follow the approach taken by the upcoming Dragon Quest 3 remake.

Aside from being the game that was largely responsible for popularizing JRPGs in the West, Final Fantasy 7 was many players' first game in the series and has long been the game that is most recognizable in the franchise. Given its place in the series' limelight, it makes perfect sense as to why Square Enix chose to remake FF7 for modern audiences with Final Fantasy 7 Remake and the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Still, there is another (and perhaps greater) Final Fantasy title that has an oft-requested update: Final Fantasy 6, As the greatest Final Fantasy title from Square Enix's legendary SNES catalog, Final Fantasy 6 is more than deserving of its own remake.

Releasing on the SNES in 1994 as Final Fantasy 3, Final Fantasy 6 is widely regarded as not just one of the best Final Fantasy games but also one of the best RPGs ever made. Featuring a shocking mid-game plot twist and some series-best mechanics, Final Fantasy 6 is a fan favorite that seems to only get better with age, further evidenced by its popularity among the 6 titles on offer as part of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters. If and when Square Enix decides to remake Final Fantasy 6, it should implement the same template used for the upcoming Dragon Quest 3 remake instead of the full-3D re-imagining afforded to Final Fantasy 7.

Nearly everyone on this planet knows about what happened to The Magitek Empire when Kefka Palazzo became a God of Magic, and the entire world of Final Fantasy VI was never the same again, even after the death of Kefka Palazzo. Just one Magitek Soldier is found in the Monster Colosseum alongside Ultros and Typhon, whilst one Returner Soldier is found in Nikeah in the GameBoy Advance Version of Final Fantasy VI, and it looks as if that both factions of The World of Balance have been eradicated. However, the main issue that I will be discussing today is about the last of The Magitek Soldiers, and the issue of a missed but possible counterattack. I have a couple of questions for this topic, before I discuss the main issue.

Here are the two questions:

1) Would there be any other Surviving Magitek Soldiers in The World of Ruin?

And,

2) Would those soldiers have any Magitek Machines with them?

I know people will say "There are no other secrets in The World of Ruin. We have spent hours uncovering all secrets, but there are no more Magitek Soldiers and Machines left.", but this topic is a 'What if...' scenario, which came to my mind.

Here is the main scenario:

Even though there is the last ever Magitek Soldier, I believe that there might be some hidden Magitek Soldiers in hiding to avoid being detected by Kefka Palazzo, and those other soldiers might be the last remnants of The Magitek Empire. The soldier in the Colosseum might be telling a lie, as he is covering for his comrades that are waiting to strike, and after the death of Kefka Palazzo then the time for a Magitek Counterattack could begin.

The first problem is that there are no Magitek Machines to use, and even if there were just a few Magitek Machines, they would not be enough for the grand counterattack, but the biggest problem is that the soldiers will have to rely on electricity and steam due to the absence of Magic and Sorcery. As for the second problem, there are not enough Magitek Soldiers alive to launch a global offensive, let alone change the minds of the people who are siding with The Returners, and with no one willing to be recruited, then all seems bleak for the Magitek Soldiers. However, with Kefka Palazzo gone and The Returners now weakened, the remnants of The Magitek Empire will still decide to launch a Counterattack no matter what, despite the risks involved. Since this is the perfect chance, the remnants of The Magitek Empire will now conquer The World of Rebirth and create The New Magitek Empire from the ground up, albeit with a different name due to no magic left.

Now bear in mind, this counterattack will definitely lead to failure, but if the remnants of The Magitek Empire do succeed by a slim chance, then The New Magitek Empire would be established, and would be even more powerful than the empire of old.

Nearly everyone on the planet knows that Magic God Kefka Palazzo destroyed the Gestahlian Empire, as well as killed Emperor Gestahl on The Floating Continent, and that he had followers around The Magic Tower with one of them being Strago Magus. However, there are a few questions that are on my mind right now, and they have nothing to do with neither the followers, nor the Human and Magitek Colour Palette Swap enemies of Kefka's Tower.

Here are the questions:

1) Did Kefka Palazzo have an Empire in The World of Ruin Era?

If not,

2) Why didn't Kefka Palazzo decided to get himself an Empire?

But if Kefka Palazzo did have an Empire,

3) Where were the Kefka Palazzo Soldiers, Magitek Soldiers, and other Imperial Units that were loyal to Kefka Palazzo?

4) Would Kefka Palazzo's Empire be larger than the Gestahlian Empire?

And finally,

5) How would The Returners deal with Kefka Palazzo's Empire in The World of Ruin Era?

It would make perfect sense for Kefka Palazzo to either claim half of The Gestahlian Empire for himself, or create himself a giant new Empire that is free from Emperor Gestahl, so that Kefka Palazzo can create a giant big 'F**k You!' to Emperor Gestahl after his death to mock his memory. Also, it would be cool to see Kefka Imperial Soldiers, as well as Kefka Magitek Armour with Kefka Palazzo's Face on the side, and it would make for an interesting take on The World of Ruin part of Final Fantasy VI's Story.

The Pixel Remasters are supposed to be easier, and some of them, especially FFIII, are, making FFIII fair (if anything stacked in your favor).

But FFVI is actually harder for one simple reason: Ditching the enemy AI scripts. (Except Kefka, he did open with Heartless Angel and use Forsaken that one time, like he does in other versions, and I had zero trouble with him)

Theoretically it was supposed to make some enemy battles easier but it also meant that bosses that use Northern Cross (namely Ice Dragon and Fiend) use it randomly, perhaps like every three turns, and it can freeze your entire party unless you get lucky and some party members don't get frozen. If at least one remains you can counter with weak fire magic, but otherwise, even Ribbons can't save you. This can make these fights very difficult.

Same goes for Southern Cross, though if you're high enough level this won't be an issue (like against Demon), but against Red Dragon, if you fight it before getting Locke (and therefore learning Curaga), it is very difficult.

On the previous Steam version I have easily been able to defeat Deathgaze (in like three battles), Storm Dragon, and Red Dragon before getting Locke, and Ice Dragon on the same trip as getting Mog, and Fiend was never a threat if I had Ultima. Also, I found the Phantom Train and Tunnel Armor bosses harder in Pixel Remaster as well.

So, does anyone know how I can contact whoever can update the Pixel Remaster to fix the enemy AI script for bosses? (I know they can because Kefka's remained the same)
