Birthday

A bit more personal than the others I've made, but that also means smaller, and still not over sharing (at least I hope not). No one is forced to answer this, of course, but I thought it would be fun. Now, to the questions!

1. Name a character whose name starts with the same letter as your username. If your username is only composed of numbers and/or special characters, well, uh, name a very overlooked character (like, an NPC with just background purpose or something. Just not a primary or secondary character).

2. Name a character whose name starts with the same letter as your real name.

3. The Espers of Ivalice are associated with Zodiac signs. Which Esper is your Zodiac sign? (Check the wiki if you don't know from the top of your head)

4. Name a character whose design is compromised mostly of your favorite color (if you have more than one favorite color, you can choose a character for each color, or a character whose design is also mostly compromised of more than one color, as long as those colors are your favorites).

5. Name a character with the same birthmonth as you. (It's possible there's not going to be one for your exact birthday, so birthmonth it is. You can go for your birthday if possible, and if you want).

Any questions just ask. And no, you don't need to give away any of your actual personal information besides what everyone will inevitably figure out from this, which is basically the first letter of your name, your favorite color/s and your birthmonth and Zodiac sign, which I don't consider much, but maybe that's just me. If you find it too invasive, just don't answer, simple as that.

Didn't make her last year, but this time I had plenty of time to finish her ahead of time and deliver her on the correct day. So here she is!

I have now watched Tactics and Meliadoul became one of my favorite characters. Almost everyone did, honestly. Such a great story. Anyway, I feel really bad for her losts, both of her brother and father, even if her father lost his mind, it still definitely hurt.

Also, at the time I didn't know and didn't do proper research, so I legitimately thought Rapha was a boy.... It's a girl, actually, and coincidentally my favorite character of the whole game. I apologize for the misgender, I truly did not meant it. No one corrected me at the time, so I only came to discover it much later.

Also also, because it's today, I wish y'all a happy Christmas Eve.

Now we wait for basically the whole cast of Tactics to be in Dissidia Opera Omnia.....

Here's the first character that missed during the first round.

At the time, I barely knew Tactics, so I had no idea who Mustadio was and how he influences the story. Now I know, and he's cool. There's many other characters I prefer above him, but he certainly isn't at the bottom. And of course, no talk about Mustadio is complete without mentioning the fcat he has a gun. That's his most distinctive feature. And I heard you might lso need a Phoenix Down for him (unfortunately the game movie didn't have that cutscene, but thanks for the comments in the soundtrack of the game for telling the story).

Oh yeah, he also has the same surname as Balthier. That's cool.

Now to wait for him and a bunch of other characters from Tactics to get to Dissidia Opera Omnia, because for some reason only Ramza and Agrias are there. But I guess Jessie is more important, despite never being playable at any point in the game or Remake. Makes super sense, wouldn't you say?

The last member of Class Zero, and the last girl.

She's my second favorite girl, after Sice. Not much to say, honestly.

And with her we reach the end of this trend of mine. Well, I do have some I have missed yet to do, and I'll do them in thi second round, but they're just 3 anyway. That said, stay tuned for when those 3 mysterious characters come I guess.

And this wasn't even planned, but quite the coincidence that Record Keeper will, unfortunately, end its services outside of Japan by the end of this month. I've been making sure to complete as much as possible during this final times.

Wow, a FFVI pack! This is the first one, I think, and it shall be the last.

Umaro was particular fun to do since it's just do the shading. That's fun.

But you know who we'll never see? Shadow and Gogo. Yeah, they don't have birthdays. I mean, I get it, it's to keep the mystery, but at least give Shadow one, man.

Only one more for September and it's done. Well, I do have a few that I missed the first time, some on purpose, others not, so when their day comes, I'll make a post for them too.

Leave it to me to make a Type-0 reference with a FFIX character. And you know how the birthdays of these guys work.

Would you be surprised if I told you I almost deleted the picture on accident? No? Yeah, me neitheir. But it did happen.

Anyway, the Goku ripoff that ruined the lives of pretty much everyone he met and yet is still very aclaimed as if he did nothing wrong for some reason. Uhm, sweet gamer logic. Also, he ain't getting any ladies with a Steal rate so freaking low that it makes a non-Thief character look better at stealing than him.

Surprisingly, today is also the birthday of a familiar of mine, but unlike other FFIX characters, I chose this day for Zidane solely because of the Type-0 reference. Considering how he ruined the story of so many people, it seems very accurate!

Ah, the poorly implemented character of the game or something. Idk, I'm kinda neutral, slightly inclined to the hate side, towards her. Look, she made Ravus cry and give up on living, ok?

Speaking of Ravus, I shall now cry because he doesn't have a birthday. For some random reason. I swear, when it comes to birthdays, Square is a bit weird sometimes. It's like everyone in FFII having a Zodiac Sign except Scott, Hilda, the Emperor. You know, relatively important characters (Scott namely because of Soul of Rebirth). But oh well, whatever I suppose.

This is also the last of FFXV! Next, it shall be a tailed friend that actually just makes the life of everyone he meets miserable. I gave it away, didn't I? Oh well, despite not being from Type-0, his birthday will be based on that, a little bit.

Finally, a Fabula Nova Crystalis pack. Took them their sweet time.

The only non-blonde boy of the original Class Zero (unless Joker is also not blonde? Idk. But Joker isn't playable) and the last guy of Type-0 (because Machina, alongside Rem, don't have birthdays. I guess that's the price for having surnames). And of course, our one and only, Prince of Lucis and King of Fishing! I prefer Prince of Sleep and King of Fishing, but sure, both are fine. His hair is blue, but that's only because it does have a blue ligh of sorts..... Y'all get what I mean. I know his hair is black, but it's like blueish black, if that makes sense.

Anyway, that's the last one of August, and next we move to September, which we'll start with another character from FFXV, surprisingly.

A villain from Tactics..... The mercebary and fell knight, no less.....

I went to read his wiki page the other day to try to get something to say here and discovered that he is bad at disguising, apparently. Oh, and he's pretty much your common mercenary, that'll kill anyone for the right price with no mercy; however, it seems he does shows mercy to Ramza and even helps him in his introduction to the mercebary life or something like that. I don't know, I think I might come to like him once I watch Tactics. But no guarantees.

And we're near the end of August. Just two more people, and then September. I have a funny one for September. Type-0 fans will definitely get the reference.

Time for everyone's favorite emo (unless you count Lightning as the number one favorite) to get his day!

Did you know? Genesis was based on Gackt, voiced by him and his development was made alongside the singer. What you might not know is that Gackt thought Squall was based on himself as well and even refered to him as "Gackt #2". Nomura later confirmed Squall was actually based on the late actor River Phoenix, so Gackt's statement just went to waste. But hey, Squall was called Gackt for a little bit, I guess. But Final Fantasy only owns one and only Gackt and that's G; only he shall sing REDEMPTION and Longing.

Next up is one from Tactics and then two people on the same day to finish up August. And then there's only September.

Yeah..... I told ya this guy had two birthdays. This is actually the one that comes in my manual, so....

This is his Advent Children outift, Cloudy Wolf, that is probably the only good thing Cloud has in the entire compilation honestly, because it's a pretty neat outfit. I absolutely love it. Also, his hair got less spiky.

And while the FFVII protagonist is now out of birthdays (thank god, you're not important), next we'll have another protagonist, that just so happens to be another of the emo squad, but whatever.

No, not Jack Garland. The Type-0 Jack that is just Jack.

And this is the final blonde! Finally! I mean, the last boy is still yet to come, but for now we'll celebrate the samurai that tries to cheer up the mood when everyone gets all gloomy day. Honestly, while he didn't grew on me, I thought it would be worse, so in that aspect I kinda like him. But he's still far away from reach Sice's and Trey's awesomeness.

Speaking of Type-0 guys, the next one is also this month, just a few days away. And by few days I mean like two weeks or something.

Roni and Rene are getting old. Let's hope that doesn't get in their way.

Man, I always love these sort of character whose color scheme is pretty simple. Also, Sabin is the best between the two and no one will convince me otherwise.

This month we finish the Type-0 boys and one of them is tomorrow. Look out for his post and the remaining ones.

More like, one of them, because this guy has two, for some reason. Square doesn't give birthdays to many characters, but then gives two to this guy. Guess that's what happens when you're the face of the franchise alongisde your boyfriend or something.

For this one, I made his normal attire. And yes, there will also be a post on the other date, but the sprite is different.

Next, it'll be a duo of twins that's hard to not love.

Time for Ramza's full and only sister to have her day!

Well, I basically only know that she's Ramza's little sister, and unlike Dycedarg and Zalbaag, she has the same parents. She also appears to be a white mage, or so Record Keeper makes ger be and apparently she is kidnapped to be used for power. Ah, and she's best friends with Tietra, Delita's sister, that..... Well, better not spoil, right? Man, Tactics story sounds messed up and awesome at the same time. Can't wait to figure it out completely!

Anyway, that's the last for this month. Still gotta start working on all the others.

Oof, we're almost done with every FFIX character. That's kinda nice.

And today we shall celebrate what was probably the first anthropomorphic animal people started simping from. From the franchise, at least. Can't blame them, she is awesome, alright.

Why today? Well, it's another important date in my family, but besides that, it also matches her age, 21. That's kinda cool.

Well, only one more for July and then August.... Oh, and since I won't do her, Lucrecia's birthday is tomorrow, if anyone cares. I definitely don't.

Our bean is getting older. I'm so proud 🥲. They grow up so fast.

Why today, you may ask? Because today is also the birthday of a relative of mine, who I will not reveal; up to you to guess, but I won't confirm it even if you guess it right.

It still suprises me how people can hate her. Well, different tastes, so I shouldn't bother about it.

She has always been a favorite of mine. Especially with her letter animations, I absolutely love that!

I don't really know what to say.... I don't know his character that well, but I definitely love how he uses cards in battle! I mean, it was only previously seen with Setzer, so it's nice that they used the concept again.

Well, that should make the last of the blonde boys, I think. Let's see.... King, Nine, Trey, and now Ace... Ah, Jack's still missing. Dammit. Speaking of boys, they are the more that are missing. Seven is literally the only girl yet to appear. Their time will eventually come.

Today is Leo's birthday. The greatest man in the land, and no one can change my mind! Loved by both allies and enemies alike, respect was something he got from everyone. His memory won't die so soon. I like to think that Terra visits his grave from time to time. After all, they always had this sibling like relationship, at least to me.

Well, I better not forget to do the remaining ones. I don't have much days left till the next one.
