Bartz Klauser

I have recently had an interesting though cross my mind, and it is to do with Bartz Klauser's fear of heights, as well as one other interesting issue that came to my mind.

We all know about Bartz Klauser's fear of heights, which was what he got as a child back in Lix, after a game of Hide and Seek ended badly. This is where the second issue comes into play, as I saw that Bartz Klauser was playing with his Best Friend, which made me think up some interesting questions that I haven't answered myself.

Here are the questions:

1) What was the name of Bartz Klauser's Best Friend?

2) Why did Bartz Klauser's Best Friend leave Bartz Klauser hanging on the roof for a long time?

3) Why wasn't there a cutscene with Bartz Klauser reuniting with his Best Friend?

4) Was Bartz Klauser's Best Friend going to play a major role in Final Fantasy V?

And if so,

5) Why was Bartz Klauser's Best Friend just left as a minor character, in which would never aid the party, let alone never get mentioned by Bartz Klauser ever again?

6) Did Bartz Klauser's Best Friend rescue Bartz Klauser from the roof?

And finally,

7) Would Bartz Klauser's Best Friend going to be a Sixth Playable Character?

I have watched the scene of Bartz Klauser hanging from the roof, before it ends and we return to the modern day scene of Bartz and Faris, however, I didn't get to see who rescued Bartz Klauser from the roof. Since that person was Bartz Klauser's Best Friend, I assumed he would've saved Bartz Klauser from the roof eventually, since that's what friends are for right? I mean, we do see Bartz Klauser's Best Friend in Lix, and he is all grown up, but we never see Bartz Klauser give him a hug or talk to him, since there is no cutscene with him and just a simple line that he says over and over again.

I am very confused by this, and I am hoping that Final Fantasy Fans, as well as Final Fantasy V Fans can help me answer these questions, since I cannot do it myself.
