I'd prefer if it was a Remaster. Merely bring the game to a newer console, but don't really change it. I personally find it good as it is.

A Remake ought to change its mechanics, and certainly other things, probably even story points, and I doubt I'd like that.

It was and is my first and only FPS game, and for such an experience, I found it pretty good. I got a fourth/fifth playthrough on hold for a reason (though it's my first playthrough in EX Hard mode, which makes it more exciting, kinda).
