I grew surronded by the Expert Sphere Grid, the one that's not for beginners, without really knowing.

One day, I started a game by myself, and not knowing which Sphere Grid was the one I was used too, I selected the Standard one. It wasn't that one and I had to restart the game because I just couldn't get used to it after being so used to the other one.

The grids are different, and the Standard felt very messy while the Expert seems more organized to me. So I can really only use the Expert.
