Also Eiko has holy unlike, Garnet who dosent have it.
Hmmm... About the same. FFXIII is in my Top Favorites like VII and VI. The rest, which I researched first, some of them I found more fun playing through them and promoted them from Average to Above Average.
But I already started playing through IX the same way as XIII and didn't enjoy it as much as any of the others. It's a lot more harsh and unforgiving and the ATB gauge is so slow. (III would be the former as well but the Pixel Remaster toned it down significantly) And from what I've seen it doesn't look like there will be a significant change like there was in XIII that flipped my opinion of it around entirely.
I'm not a professional, if a game is too difficult it's not fun for me. I suppose, after I'm done my research, I could try the cheat buttons again for a little project. But I do want to also summarize X, XII, and XV.
I see.
I don't really find FFIX that hard in terms of gameplay, much from the opposite, neitheir do I find the ATB bar slow, but perhaps growing with FFX, where you have total control over the turns (you can literally leave the game, go to the bathroom, go to sleep, anything, and nothing will happen as long as it is in a party member's turns) makes me not notice how slow it is in the beginning, add FFVIII as my childhood game, where before you get a Speed Junction you're almost near the end (can't remember the first GF you get with it, but I think it's Cactuar [which is completely opticional to add to the trouble of getting a Sp-J]) and so you just get faster by levelling up in the beginning. So, I guess I'm used to slower games.......
Anyway, if you need me I'll be levelling my characters till level 99 in FFXII to then go kill Omega Mark XII.
I guess, remember, my favorite FF game is VII
Don't really see how's relevant, because tbh, when I played VII, VI, IV and all those others, it felt like FFVIII and FFIX. I found no difference. Aside from the fact I could only beat IV with the battle speed at 1 (the slowest possible), I never noticed any difference between the games' speeds; and even when I changed the battle speed it felt like nothing changed, something I have also done in FFXII (because Yiazmat apparently doesn't care about battle speed and you being in the fastest is actually an advantage).
So, I suppost I just am so ignorant that battle speed is completely irrelevant to me and it's always the same no matter what.
Anyway, back to try to get sandstorms and heavy rain for the Entites to appear and me to get their second page of the bestiary.
For me, my fav is IX, because of it compelling and complexing story. For gameplay VIII is the best I also kinda liked materia and job but imo junction was more flexible with your overall stats and your GF abilities can just help you a lot too the point where you break the game but at the cost of grinding. Currently IV is my second favorite in the series(I'm sorry VIII) though it took me time too admit that I preferred IV over VIII even though I preferred IV's story over VIII had good story but it could of been better. Its even said by many fans that if the game made the story as good as it is, it would've been the best game in the series which I honestly can see but square kinda failed on delivering a better story than VIII. The only games that I can say has potential to overthrow IX and become my fav is VI or XII
Zappy our top 2 favorites FFs are IX and IV 😂 if VI becomes your third favorite I’m gonna call you my clone from now on
It's not just how slow my ATB gauge goes, enemies hit pretty hard and while some spots do have healing, others don't, enemies don't give as much experience (I can't remember if this is true of gil), and there looks to be an extended period of time without white magic. (I know there are items but I don't know that you can win enough gil to buy enough of them to recover and keep up)
I didn't feel this way for FFVII, my first game in the series.
Yeah killroy I struggled at that part too it was stupid, but in that part you can also get a weapon synthesis a weapon in lindblum before heading to the dragons gate and that weapons is the ogre. It has and ability called like soul something and it's used to blind toes like the boss you face, that boss was called Gizamalukea or something like that but it's a flying fish thing you have to be and ogre would carry you in that fight even if you don't cheat. But if you cheat but somehow couldn't kill himfor the first hit somehow you can blind him with that ability I just informed you about.
Vivi, yeah IV is amazing but sadly I'm going to say most likely that VI and XII will overthrow IX in my list, though I'm playing XII later in my list, so after IV my list of what's next gose on:
XV
VI
X/X2(maybe)
XII(maybe)
I'm totally not so sure on XIII or V or II.
What do you think?
