I voted Both, despite liking Vincent more than Yuffie. Nevertheless, I prefer both of these over the main Main cast of FFVII.
I'll be surprised if anyone votes the last option. I find it improbable, but there's stupid people for everything.
Oh, and this is suppost to be in a more gameplay perspective.
I like Yuffie more tho. While I like Vincent a lot, I really like how funny Cid talks about her XD
yuffie is incredibly annoying and hateable on FFVII... Shes only cool on the others... just Ugh!
Still not as annoying as Aerith, Tifa or Cloud. And a very good party member.
Both character wise and gameplay Vincent. I love casting magic and he's a magic caster. Also his limit breaks are the best and worth taking a day just to farm for them, though I've never used his ultimate death penalty weapon and still beated the game with none. He's also super cool, Naruto-running around the screen, awesome design and concept also I love his guns. It was also hard for my weak team to beat lost number but I was worth the time and effort.
Vincent
To be honest, I like both characters. I find Yuffie very cute and I really relate to her story and Vincent has a very interesting story and cool design…if only he was voiced by Crispin Freeman.
Yuffie. Maybe not character-wise (since she betrays you and steals your Materia at one point) but she has ranged attacks (though so does Vincent) and I found her attack power higher than my other party members when I first got her (so I reluctantly replaced Tifa with her), plus one of her Limit Breaks can heal the whole party. (It helps I find her cute too, and that one moment she shows she does have a heart during Aeris's death scene)
Vincent, I am thinking about using him again eventually if I can get him again. His design and song are pretty cool too.
As to how to get them: For Yuffie, keep fighting in a forest (first seen after Mythril Mines; any forest will do) and eventually you will fight her. Defeat her and then pick the following responses:
Not interested
...petrified
Wait a second
...That's right
...Let's hurry on
For Vincent... Well, first, open the safe at Shinra Manor (the haunted mansion in Nibelheim) with the code "Right 36, Left 10, Right 59, Right 97." (How in the name of Sephiroth you're supposed to know that without a walkthrough I have no idea) I think there is a button you have to press each spot you reach at the combination.
Once you open the safe, kill Lost Number and get the key. Use it to get through a door at the lower level of Shinra Manor and talk to Vincent inside the coffin.
Well, first playthrough I was able to get him but second playthrough onwards he just went back into his coffin and I think I said the wrong thing and missed my opportunity to get him. If someone has anything I'm missing about getting Vincent please let me know.
The wiki exists for a reason.
Just doesn't use it who doesn't want to.
Oh, talk to him again. That must have been what I didn't do second, third, and fourth times.
What do you think?
