What I'm asking is, is there a way to detect the skin in play and load a proper image for that layout? Otherwise, the only fix I can envision is to make black-on-white or white-on-black the suggested text layout on images themselves.
The imagine in the background is a nice touch, and I like the dark sides, but the background image interferes with the search page and actual pages. Anyway to make the text background opaque instead of transparent? It will cut out the image a lot, but I'd rather be able to actually read my page instead.
We've got some fonts too large on sidebar-type navboxes. Take a look at finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Versions for an example. It's about as bad as an old SEGA slogan
"WELCO
METOT
HENEX
TLEVEL"
The text in the FFXII-2 enemy infobox is so light it's hard to see.
Kelt: those infoboxes will be gone soon anyway, but as a quick fix it's best to remove the white background code from the infoboxes.
I think I fixed the sidebar navbox problem now.
Oh, thanks. Some of the bottom navbox headers aren't quite right, either. Take s gander at finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Consoles and you'll see what I mean.
When uploading a file you can write the categories into the summary box, but the auto-fill option goes behind the box and you can't select it.
Really minor nitpick, but there's still a yellow line by the main navigation: i.imgur.com/a/9YZql.png.
This should fix it:
.WikiHeader .navbackground div {
background-color: #5b6063;
}
White background + black text = legibility.
Image background + translucent layer + thin and white typography = a mess :(
