History[]
Early life[]
Adalberta was eight when the Garlean Empire occupied Ala Mhigo, and fled to Ul'dah as a refugee. Her role model has always been her father, a Highlander of humble beginnings who became a miner to support his daughter before dying in a cave-in. She studied as a protege under Deep Canyon before unexpectedly being promoted to guildmaster and lost the trust of her mentor and former friend.[1]
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn[]
Adalberta accepted the Warrior of Light in the Miners' Guild and submitted several requests to them to teach various guild skills. The Warrior of Light excelled in their work and caught the eye of Deep Canyon, who began making requests to the guild. Adalberta delivered the missions to the Warrior of Light and Wide Gulley, but the latter turned into a competition and was wounded.
Once Wide Gulley recovered, Adalberta remained worried about him due to his strange behavior. With the help of the Warrior of Light, they discovered that Wide's father, Deep Canyon, was conspiring against the guild and that Wide Gulley planned to report him. After his denouncing was made public, Adalberta wanted to help her former mentor and learned that when she was named guildmaster, Deep Canyon thought it was her betrayal and planned revenge. After the misunderstanding was cleared up between them, the Warrior of Light helped Deep get acquitted and regain the trust of guild members.
Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward[]
Adalberta directed the Warrior of Light to place orders in Ishgard on the grounds that it was a great opportunity to profit in the north. Later, she also referred the Warrior of Light to Idyllshire, claiming that there was a perfect job for them and that probably no one else would do it. Plantilla:Character section
